FAQ
How do I jump?
Like a slingshot: put your finger down, pull back the opposite way from where you want to go, and let go. The farther you pull, the bigger the jump, and the arc shows where you're headed. You can tap pause in the top corner anytime.
Where is my progress saved?
Right on your device. There's no cloud save, so deleting Frog Quest also deletes your progress. (Signing in with a Muse account only turns on Muse Pro perks; it doesn't back up your climb.)
Beating the game clears your quest save so you can climb again from the bottom, and you keep everything you've unlocked.
To start over yourself, open Settings (on the title screen or in the pause menu) and tap Reset Climb, or Delete All Data to clear your wardrobe and best scores too. Either asks first.
How do I unlock hats and skins?
- Reach the top of the World Tree to earn the crown.
- Hit scores of 25, 50 and 100 in Endless mode for new looks.
- Catch all 14 little flies buzzing in hidden corners of the World Tree for the Golden Frog. The wardrobe counts the ones you've caught.
- A couple more are hidden in the World Tree. Keep your eyes open ;]
To change your look, tap WARDROBE on the title screen or in the pause menu.
What is Endless mode?
Tap ENDLESS on the title screen for a climb that never ends. Every new platform you land on is +1. From version 1.1, if you fall you can keep going once per run by watching a short ad (or for free with Remove Ads).
Remove Ads, and restoring a purchase
Remove Ads is a one-time purchase that turns off the banner and full-screen ads. Find it in the pause menu, or on the Endless game over screen. Apple handles the payment.
If Remove Ads doesn't apply (for example after reinstalling, or on a new device):
- Make sure you're signed in with the same Apple ID that bought it.
- Open the Remove Ads screen and tap Restore Purchases.
- Still nothing? Close the game fully, reopen it, and restore again. Then open a support request.
What's Frog Quest+? (Muse Pro)
Frog Quest works with your Muse account, the same one Muse Shelf and the other Muse apps use. If your account has Muse Pro, the game becomes Frog Quest+: the + on the logo, no ads, and on a computer, Lil Froggy can come out on your desktop.
- Tap MUSE ACCOUNT on the title screen (or Muse Pro? Sign In on the Remove Ads screen).
- Tap Sign In with Muse Shelf. The game shows a short code.
- Tap Open Muse Shelf. Muse Shelf (the app, or its website) opens with the code filled in, signed in with your Google, Apple or email account. Check it's the code on your screen and approve it. The game signs itself in. No password needed.
Muse Shelf opened without the code? It needs an update. Or go back to the game and tap Open the Website to approve it on Muse Shelf's website instead.
Rather use email? Tap Sign In with Email, type your account's email, then the code Muse emails you. Only type a code into Muse Shelf if it's showing on your own screen.
Signing in is optional and the whole game plays without it. No Muse account yet? You can make one in Muse Shelf. To sign out, open MUSE ACCOUNT and tap Sign Out.
Why does the game ask to track me?
Frog Quest shows ads from Google AdMob, which keeps the game free. iOS asks whether the game may use your device's advertising identifier. Allowing it makes the ads more relevant. If you choose Ask App Not to Track, you'll still see ads, just less personalized ones.
You can change it anytime in Settings › Privacy & Security › Tracking. More in the Privacy Policy.
Refunds and billing
Apple handles all App Store payments, so refunds, receipts and billing questions go through Apple. You can request a refund at reportaproblem.apple.com.
Does it work on iPad and iPhone Duo?
Yes, Frog Quest runs on iPhone and iPad. An update is on the way that fills iPhone Duo's inner screen edge to edge and lets you play story mode upright, including on the cover screen.
Something's not working
- Update to the latest version from the App Store.
- Close the game fully and open it again.
- Ads and purchases need an internet connection; the game itself plays fine offline.
Still broken? Report the bug and tell me what happened.
